The brief for this project was to select and research one of the stories told in the RNZ "Black Sheep" podcast. Then to produce a suite of illustrations to respond to the story.
The "Black Sheep" story I chose was the one of Stewart Smith, an Englishman in New Zealand known for smuggling, breeding and releasing invasive fish into local waterways. As a result, the ecosystem of New Zealand has been permanently altered.
The illustrations explore different aspects of his story.
