Its a great filmβ¦.just KILL YOURSELF KILL YOURSELF FUCK YOU BEARβ¦..i knew this film was gonna make me mad. And it did. Objectively yeah, its a 4 star for me. But emotionallyβ¦justice for nikki -1 star
Definitely had a good theme and was very impressive for the time it was made. So much so I was constantly wondering just how some of the special effects were made. The message was definitely hammered relentlessly, it was not subtle. But I enjoyed the film enough.
I thought parts of the film were really good, like specifically during the middle part of the film there were some really well written and interesting scenes. But also there were a lot of parts which were very offbeat. Like they didn't fit or they tonally felt off or underdeveloped. Some storyline didn't meet actual conclusions, like the boss and the money and that whole emotional stick. The conclusion of motherhood and the new shifted state of the family's relationship was also left unconcluded which personally I didn't like. Just why was the final scene so happy? like there was no actual catharsis leading to it except a massive conflict. The film definitely had potential as a film, there were so many exposition shots that could have been more story development. So many characters were left underdeveloped. The mother was so inconsistently written and treated as a uncaring idiot for majority of the film. But let's list some things I enjoyedβ¦ the acting from the sisters was incredible, the kid's storyline was well written and I loved her whole little arc including when her sister/mum took her back to apologise for her wrongdoings. L moment for the meerkatβ¦
It Ends. it was amazing. I'm going to think about this one for awhile o i actually really like this film, my heart on rewatch, moved
IT WAS A GOOD FILM. crazy as fuck holy that man's life is a roller-coaster and he's constructing it as he's riding. GWENYTH PALTRO a QUEEN god if I could've been Marty⦠wouldnt have been just in it for the money. Great cinematography, great plot, loved how witty and also problematic Marty was, but that man had such charisma that it was aweing to watch. Like the scene he picked up Gwenyth over the phone? like I'm going to go rewatch that scene right now. ALSO FRAN, I recognised her as soon as she talked.
that sucked to watch but it was also good? I knew the big twist so it was kind of gross watching it happen and it was super surprising how gruesome it was, I actually felt so bad for him. Kinda crazy. the cinematography was great, script was funny and poetic weirdly, a high 3 star. just fuckkk it's all kind of grim isn't it. but it had a magic about it that sucked me in and never broke the suspended disbelief
I really liked the main girls accent
AHHAAH v good love their dynamic. I just finished the new release third season which was an extra long special episode (basically a move) which I wasn't expecting. holy they were so cute and they met again and they're so adorable old gay men fighting the world together to be together but also have a world where people can just be people without anything fucking with them
confusing af but the cinematography is pretty and gays
EVERY SCENE ALL MY THOUGHTS WERE OMG THEYRE SO HOT OR THEY ATE. lady gaga ate so hard. the fashion was so good. was waiting for gay people but they never came. Meryl was so cute, so cool, would smash Miranda priestly so hard. it's my headcanon that that guy is her platonic soulmate. For Annie I could care less about the Australian dude cut him out. Emily blunt had the most iconic lines, her costumes ate so hard and I'm on redhead Emily side cause fuckk that blonde wig was just not the same. Stanley tucci was less iconic this time, less gay too. I feel like if I watched it again I would like it less plot wise and whatnot but on first watch I was just so giddy to see everyone on screen together again. sure it's not like a crazy insanely good film, the cinematography is unremarkable and the dialogue was mediocre. but it's doing its job, it's a fun, campy film where you watch people strut around in banging fits. I appreciated the mention of AI like that was so real and relavent to the world right now and the state of mediums like journalism. I WATCHED IT AGAIN SITTING BESIDE CAITLIN AND I HAD SO MUCH FUN THE LAST SCENE WAS THE CERULEAN SWESTER FROM THE FIRST FILM
I SOBBED MY WAY THROUGH THIS FUCKKK THE CINEMATOGRAPHY, THE ACTING, THE UNFAIRNNESS FUCK. I could feel electricity in the air, God I couldn't even tear my eyes away. Even on the second watch holy fuck, still crying, them crying makes me cry. small time punk and good student
fuck me never again. lowkey I'm a Juno stan she was doing some very attractive girl power things
solid film. I don't have much else to note about it. Very American political, which is fine but also maybe why I felt a little disconnected. do crime and fight the system built for white men, period. I liked how it was a funny and would be like this is the world right now and it's a joke
God dammit why was there so many fucking sudden jumpscares. I feel like i wasnt too impressed because it wasnβt like growing horror within me, it was just like I got scared by the jumpscares - maybe its cause i just rewatched hill house before instantly binging this where even tho iβve watched hill house before it still gave me a feeling of growing horror - maybe i need to rewatch it - I think the plot was really interesting and that the devil shit was hard to figure out. i rewatched it and, the jumpscares didnt put me off this time. I loved it. I still ship Madeline and Verna and i loved the nuance in the kids and the poetry.
Very fun, a very good film, really well paced and the mystery was very enjoyable to follow. I appreciate the themes of faith and religion within. Minus one star i miss kathyrn hahn
AWW it really brought back the memories of reading the book. Crazy ass plot, totally forgot the cross-dressing lesbian woman working as a prostitute was the same story as the cross-dressing woman who got picked up off the street and kept as a rich older woman's toy was the same as the oyster woman. I gotta say the cinematography in this series is CRAZY like the silly looney toons zoom thing and the random inverse colours was wild. I GOTTA SAY THAT THE 2ND ARC IS MY DREAM
its actual fun to watch, its not good but its fun I just finished s4, uh it was nice, I still skip through the entire thing, cant wait for the lesbians
its australian the costuming is so good tho, they look so cool¢ I just finished season 3, loved the ending, it's just so hopeful like fuck maybe I'll just get in a car and drive off⦠if I could drive I guess. But actually so cute, the costuming in s3 was equally awesome. Everyone was equally as messy as I barely rememeber and wow the Sasha character defamation was real
I finally finished it. I loved the magic and the casting. it was like Harry potter but they were in uni and all depressed.
very nice, I really liked Nick and Judy in this one. The snake was so cute toooo
a beautiful short film. it was bizarre and I wish that there was a happy ending but I really liked it anyway
cuteee so much drama but very sweet
It was aight. it wasn't as magical as the other films like the trick wasn't as cool and I think the amount of main characters took time away from being able to actually get invested in any of the characters. fr the first part I was the most interested when rosamund pike was on screen + one star for her
FUCKDUCKFUXK FUCK YOU IT WAS SCARY FUCKKK U GLADYS
WHAT IS THIS GOLDMINE OF ACTRESSES, STUMBLED UPON BY COMPLETE ACCIDENT. I SWEAR THATS THE HOT ENGINEER FROM SNOWPIERCER, AND GIGI IS THE 50S HOUSEWIFE FROM WHY WOMEN KILL AND RACHEL FROM FRIENDS IS THERE TOO. DREW BARRYMORE??? SPREADING DELULU. JANINE BRO SHE IS SO FINE LIKE IN SNOWPIERCER WAS SO HOT BUT GODDAMN SHE'S SO HOT IN THIS FILMβ¦.HOLD UPβ¦ GAYS? IN 2009β¦STEREOTYPED BUT OF COURSE THEY'RE WITH DREW BARRYMORE. THIS IS GOING DOWN A MAN HATING ROUTE AND I LOVE IT UGH WHOLESOME ENDING GAVE ME THE FUZZIES
it is one of those 2000s romance films for real
I really enjoyed it, the poetry and themes of teaching and conformity in society repressing dreams and enjoyment were inspiring
a banger and hilarious
classic powerpuff girls stuff
gorgeous film, the animation and style was beautiful, but the pacing was terrible and the story was not well told
er unravelling the mystery was interesting I guess. but it was more like confirming it cause it was pretty obvious it was a she's not cause that's crazy but actually she is cause otherwise it wouldn't be interesting. Um pretty I guess. still felt so bad for Emma Stone's character it was... fucked up
funny and gross and cute, an odd combo for a film but it was fun and I enjoyed the twists and the way his capi genetic disorder played into stuff but lowkey think he was built like a tank idk if that was unrealistic but it was unbelievable at time
lowkey kind of stacked cast, Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler and Maggie Smith. Iconic. it was pretty funny but not hilarious but just good vibes. love a fuck men moment
ANNE HATHAWAY WITH THIS GUY⦠GET OUTTA HERE
I don't think I liked thatβ¦. Nezha was way better
A banger movie, super fun with a banger message. Magical girls meet kda vibes which was fun. eyes were attatched to the screen. A little cringe at times
βYou were a good experience, you were everythingβ sobbing. so good.
Definitely a crazy and sweet little film. I feel for Dwayne
